Murray’s big night includes go-ahead touchdown in Lampasas victory

Michael Murray, WR, Lampasas: The Badger senior caught six passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns in a 40-34 victory over Canyon Lake. He caught a 73-yard scoring pass in the second quarter and capped his night with a 61-yard TD catch in the fourth quarter to give Lampasas the lead for good.

Christian Adkins, RB, Smithville: The Tiger senior rushed for 111 yards on only nine carries and caught a 37-yard TD pass in a 29-27 victory over Cuero.
Dior Bradfield, QB, Weiss: The Wolf junior completed 31 of 42 passes for 334 yards and four TDs in a 49-48 loss to Hendrickson.
Kyle Brown, QB, Vista Ridge: The Ranger senior completed 17 of 22 passes for 302 yards and four TDs in a 48-21 victory over Westwood.
Brody Bujnoch, LB, Hutto: The Hippo sophomore had 10 tackles, two for losses, broke up a pass and recorded an interception in a 29-9 victory over Stony Point.
Noah Camacho, RB, Bowie: The Bulldog junior rushed for 133 yards and a pair of touchdowns in a 42-0 victory over Akins.
Jax Crockett, CB, Westlake: The Chaparral senior had two tackles, broke up a pass and intercepted a pair of passes in a 59-6 victory over Hays.
Drew Dickey, QB, Regents: The Knight junior passed for 204 yards and five TDs — all in the first half — of a 55-7 victory over John Paul II.
DeCorey Eason, RB/LB, Northeast: The Raider senior rushed for 50 yards, contributed nine tackles and returned a fumble 70 yards for an overtime touchdown in an 18-12 victory over Travis.
Caleb Green, DE, McCallum: The Knight senior contributed 11 tackles, a sack and two forced fumbles in a 58-0 win over Navarro.
Ty Jordan, DB, Vandegrift: The Viper senior had nine tackles, two for losses, and broke up a pair of passes in a 35-6 victory over Cedar Ridge.
Aidan Keith, LB, Hendrickson: The Hawk senior had nine tackles and two sacks, and he tackled Weiss QB Bradfield on a two-point conversion attempt with seven seconds to play to preserve a 49-48 victory.
Cade Klubnik, QB, Westlake: The Chaparral junior passed for 303 yards and four touchdowns and ran for another score in the win over Hays.
Ethan McAlister, WR, Johnson: The Jaguar sophomore caught six passes for 148 yards and three scores in a 44-14 victory over rival Lehman.
Peter McFarlin, QB, Elgin: The Wildcat senior rushed 18 times for 260 yards and three scores in a 41-22 victory over Glenn.
Israel Morgan, RB, Round Rock: The Dragon senior rushed for 252 yards and five touchdowns and caught a TD pass in a 55-9 win over McNeil.
Shakir Muhammad, DB, Rouse: The Raider senior ran 75 yards for a touchdown on the opening kickoff, added a TD on a 65-yard fumble return and had seven tackles in a 55-31 victory over Cedar Creek.
Jake Robertson, LB, Vista Ridge: The Ranger senior had 20 tackles and two sacks in the victory over Westwood.
Blake Simpson, RB, Liberty Hill: The Panther senior rushed for 213 yards and five touchdowns in a 40-7 win over Marble Falls.
De’Mire Thompson, RB, Bastrop: The Bear senior rushed for 158 yards and scored three TDs in a 28-21 loss to East View.
Ace Whitehead, QB, Lampasas: The Badger senior completed 10 of 15 passes for 331 yards and four touchdowns in the victory over Canyon Lake.
Charles Wright, QB, Austin High: The Maroon senior passed for 303 yards, rushed for 100 yards and accounted for seven TDs in a 56-28 victory over San Marcos.
